Mechanism of Action

Palmitoyl Hexapeptide-12 combines a lipophilic palmitoyl group with the Val-Gly-Val-Ala-Pro-Gly (VGVAPG) peptide sequence, a recurring structural fragment found in elastin. By supporting the production of key extracellular matrix components, including collagen, elastin, fibronectin and glycosaminoglycans, it helps reinforce skin structure and promote firmer, smoother and more resilient-looking skin.

Efficacy Data

In Vivo:

At 2%, PalRevive helps reduce the depth and volume of major facial wrinkles and the surface area of deep wrinkles after two months of use.

In Vitro:

Demonstrates elastase-inhibiting activity, helping support preservation of the skin’s elastic fiber network.
